The sounthern Ontario members decided to get together to celebrate the arrival of Erv. Racso and Samantha graciously offered up the use of their house to host a gathering & put on a fine spread, with steaks cooked to perfection by Racso(Neil), baked potatoes and assorted salads and munchies. Some of us had met at previous times, while for others it was a first time meeting of like minded individuals RJ was kind enough to bring some spare parts with him, including a windshield which Psyco decided he just had to have so he could impress Eddie D Of course RJ didn't like the photographic evidence I was collecting Erv lived up to his rep as a Bad Boy & quickly decided that since Barbie's were scarce around here he would take a go at Nancy. Psyco quickly jumped to her rescue with his handy Bic lighter and Erv headed for safer ground & decided to meet everyone else in attendance including Oscar the dog. Everyone had a chance to sign the T-Shirt in the Lazy Rider bag and sign the log book that has been accompaning Erv for the last year and a half. It was great sitting around and chatting with everyone and renewing acquaintances. Emu was kind enough to take Racso on a ride on the new Kaw, as he hadn't been on a bike in well over a year . The night ended much too quickly as RJ & Sue had a long ride ahead of them, getting back to Sarnia and I had to be up early for teaching the next day. Thanks to all who attended and especailly to Neil & Samantha for hosting our little gathering. Rumour is there will be a late summer gathering in the Sarnia area, that I'm very much looking forward to. Until then keep the rubber side down.
